I’m a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT). I help people that are feeling stuck or are confused by their thoughts and feelings, find a way to get back to feeling happy, confident and calm again.
I primarily work with individuals that are dealing with OCD and other manifestations of Anxiety as well as people that just need help sorting out their thoughts and feelings so that they can get on with their lives.
I know that actively working through your issues can conjure up some really powerful resistance to change. I’d like to help you get through that so you can move forward and feel a sense of empowerment and control in your life.
I help people that are longing to feel happy, confident and connected to others but don’t quite know how to get there on their own. I guide them through the (sometimes challenging and uncomfortable, but always cathartic) process of better understanding their actions, thoughts and feelings so that they can make positive changes and are able to go on to live a happy and more fulfilling life.
I initially see people at a challenging time in their lives, but as we work together, they are able to find the courage, skills, resiliency and self understanding that is necessary to move forward and make a life worth living. I believe that self love is crucial in the pursuit of happiness and self understanding and can make us feel present and effective in our life and relationships.
I am an active therapist and will be engaged in the process the entire time. Therapy with me is a collaboration so if you are looking for someone to sit there and smile at you…you’ve got the wrong girl.
